Executive Management

Answers Research, Inc. boasts a strong executive management team with unparalleled experience in strategic, worldwide market research. Answers Research, Inc. focuses on hyper-competitive advanced technology industries, with emphasis in the information technology, computer and telecommunications fields. The management team's breadth of experience and strong academic excellence aids Answers Research in clearly understanding the challenges faced by advanced technology clients. The staff's complementary disciplines include marketing, operational, financial, and of course statistical and mathematical roles.

Albert Fitzgerald, President and Founder
Since founding Answers Research in 1989, Albert Fitzgerald has designed numerous highly innovative market research methodologies aimed at the unique needs of the hyper-competitive advanced technology industry. Albert primarily works with clients on key strategic decisions — those on which 100 million-dollar decisions often hinge. Albert has more than 15 years of market research experience from both the supplier and client sides, and previously worked in several high technology firms in the U.S. and Europe, including such prominent computer and telecommunications companies as Hewlett-Packard, GTE, and Northern Telecom. Albert earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business and an M.S.E. in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania. He has lived and worked in Scotland, Belgium and Denmark as well as the U.S. and understands the cultural implications of product development and marketing. A dynamic and engaging presenter, Albert is a recognized authority in the market research field and is requested frequently to speak at technology industry trade shows and market research conferences.

Cathy Bueter, Qualitative Division President
As Qualitative Division President, Cathy's primary responsibility is to oversee the successful implementation of qualitative research, including focus groups, Focus Interviews™, and one-on-one interviews. Cathy continually develops new methodologies to ensure the company offers cutting-edge techniques for its qualitative services. A seasoned moderator, she has developed several unique methods for eliciting respondent participation in qualitative studies and supervises Answers' staff of four moderators. Cathy has 18 years of collective experience in market research for consumer packaged goods and high technology channel program and product management. Having held client, supplier, and independent consultant roles, Cathy has a broad perspective and extensive knowledge of technology-related consumer behavior. Cathy began her research career in 1982 at Burke Marketing Research, the nation's largest primary market research firm. Cathy has a B. A. from the University of Kentucky and an M.A. in the behavioral sciences from the University of Cincinnati.

Ken Locati, Director Client Services
Since 1986, Ken has been involved in both client and supplier side market research. He has managed over 900 primary market research projects from understanding and refining client objectives methodology design, implementation management, analysis, reporting and follow-up. He is adept at anticipating client needs, and eliciting the information that will assist team members in planning quality questionnaires to achieve actionable results. These day-to-day liaisons are responsible for overall management and delivery of the completed projects. He possesses vast experience in quantitative research management with a specialty high-technology, software, telecommunications and financial services. He has had direct experience in all phases of research including moderating focus groups, one-on-one interviews and designing and analyzing surveys. Ken holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University.

Mark Crooks, Senior Research Analyst
As Senior Research Analyst, Mark performs high-level research design, analysis, and reporting for complex projects requiring multivariate statistical analysis. This involves programming web surveys, writing questionnaires and research reports, and making marketing recommendations based on research data. He also supports the research manager in designing new research products and analytical techniques. Mark's experience in primary research for a variety of industries extends back to 1986. He is expert at analyzing market information and has extensive experience in all areas of research, including business development, proposal writing, data collection, project management and final report writing. Mark holds a B.A. in Marketing Research from Oklahoma State University and a minor in Economics.

Ravelle Seay, Senior Market Research Analyst
As Senior Research Analyst, Ravelle performs high-level research design, analysis, and reporting for complex projects requiring multivariate statistical analysis. This involves programming web surveys, writing questionnaires and research reports, and making marketing recommendations based on research data. With dual degrees in Business Management and Economics, and years of custom primary market research experience, Ravelle offers Answers' clients the unique ability to blend complex statistical theories with practical business applications. During her career with IntelliQuest, Millward Brown and the state of Texas, Ravelle successfully managed complex research projects for clients such as IBM, Microsoft, Nortel Networks and H-P. Ravelle was directly involved with the design and application of optimal research methodologies to complex research studies while overseeing the successful execution and delivery of concise actionable research results.
