Job Summary:

The primary function of this position is to support Answers Research’s external clients and to maintain a thriving partnership with your assigned clients. The goals are high client satisfaction with the research and a continuing profitable client-firm business relationship. Additionally, the Client Services Manger is responsible to lead the entire internal project team to accomplish all action items associated with the client’s research accurately, on-time and on-budget. In short, consistently deliver high quality results on time to your assigned clients.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop trusting and reliable relationships with external clients to entice and ensure continued business by communicating with and updating external clients on progress of projects on daily basis.
  • Respond immediately to external clients’ additional requests (i.e., those beyond the scope of the proposal or to discuss potential future projects) to ensure satisfaction and repeat business with Answers Research.
  • Respond to internal clients’ requests, e.g. communicating with and documenting communications with clients, pulling together materials for travel, etc.
  • Lead team to understand clients’ needs and to complete action items as accepted in the proposal, which includes acting as interface between external client and Answers Research’s team to determine what and when we can deliver, in order to meet and exceed clients’ needs.
  • Senior CSM’s will manage a greater number of projects than CSM’s and will also manage more complex projects.
  • Assist is writing, editing, and pricing proposals (in times of crunch or business reason).
  • Write and edit screeners, and discussion guides.
  • Write and edit reports for qualitative studies.
  • Along with Analysis Department: review questionnaires and screeners for completeness and field ability.
  • Assist in reviewing reports and presentations (sometimes identifying information in reports to be included in presentations).
  • Moderate Focus Groups, one on ones, and Focus Interviews when appropriate.
  • Manage off-site field work and Web-based surveys for all domestic projects.
  • Track daily performance of outside vendors on both quantitative and qualitative projects to insure that each job is completed within the timeline and the budget.
  • Work closely with CSM coordinator to set-up qualitative focus groups.
  • Ensure status reports are faxed or emailed to clients every Friday.
  • Update Goldmine CRM program on a regular basis.
  • Other duties as assigned by Answers Research management.

Qualifications:

Education:
College degree plus 1 or more years of advanced study in the following field(s):

  • Marketing Research
  • Business Management

Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in marketing research supplier firm.
  • Must understand fundamentals of marketing research methodologies and have a basic understanding of the research process.
